Gas work is not a place to save money on a handyman. In Maryland it's licensed work for a reason, it usually requires a permit and an inspection, and the failure mode isn't a puddle.
What we do
New appliance lines. Ranges, dryers, water heaters, fireplaces, garage heaters.
Outdoor lines. Grills, fire pits, generators, pool heaters — no more hauling propane tanks.
Repairs and replacement. Corroded pipe, failed fittings, lines that won't hold a pressure test.
Shutoff valves and sediment traps. The unglamorous parts that make the rest safe and serviceable.
Capping and removal. Doing away with a gas appliance means the line gets properly capped, not taped.
Permits and inspections
Most gas work in our area requires a permit and an inspection, and the requirements differ between Anne Arundel, Howard, Baltimore County, Baltimore City and WSSC territory (Prince George's County). We pull what your jurisdiction requires and meet the inspector.
That inspection is not bureaucracy — it's a second set of eyes on a system that can hurt your family. If someone offers to do gas work without a permit because "it's just a quick one," that should end the conversation.
What we won't do
We won't run a line that doesn't meet the code your jurisdiction enforces, and we won't hook an appliance to a line that can't safely carry it. If your existing supply is undersized for what you're adding — a common surprise with tankless water heaters — we'll tell you before you buy the appliance, not after.

Do I need a permit for a gas line?
Almost always, and the exact rule depends on your jurisdiction. We handle the permit as part of the job.
Can you run a gas line to my grill or fire pit?
Yes. Outdoor lines are one of the more common things we're asked for. We'll look at where the line has to run and what your meter can supply.
How do I know if I have a leak?
Rotten-egg smell, a hissing sound near a line or appliance, or a gas bill that climbed for no reason. If you smell gas, get out and call 911 and your utility first.
Will my current line handle a tankless water heater?
Often it won't without an upgrade — tankless units draw far more gas than a tank heater. This is worth checking before you commit to the equipment.
