How our pricing works

We price by the job, not by the hour. Before any work begins you'll be told what the job is, what it includes, and what it costs. If we open something up and find a condition that changes the job, we stop and talk to you before going further.

If part of your work is covered by a home warranty, anything you would owe on top of that is explained and priced for you before we do it.

Trip charge

For most jobs close to our Crofton shop there isn't one — we come out, look at it and tell you what it needs. On some calls, usually longer drives or a diagnosis that takes real time, there's a $120 trip charge. If you go ahead with the work, that $120 comes off the price of the job. You never pay it on top of the repair.

There is never a trip charge on a home warranty call.

For home warranty customers

Your trade service fee arrangement is between you and your warranty company. Any non-covered work is quoted to you separately and only done with your approval.
